How organisations can support beyondblue

Opportunities for organisations to work with beyondblue to raise awareness of depression include:

  • Distribute beyondblue information resources to your staff, community or customers (posters, fact sheets, wristbands, fridge magnets).
  • Link to the beyondblue website www.beyondblue.org.au and promote the information line 1300 22 4636 from your website.
  • Provide beyondblue workplace training for employees.
  • Hold special awareness raising events, forums or presentations in your workplace, community or sports club.
  • Donations and payroll giving to support the beyondblue research fund, which is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office with Deductible Gift Recipient Status. All donations are used for initiating and supporting depression related research.
  • Feature depression related articles for staff, member or customer newsletters.
  • Participate in Anxiety and Depression Awareness Month (October) and Movember.
  • Provide in-kind support.

Please note: beyondblue will not align with any pharmaceutical, gambling or tobacco organisations.
