Queerswich is a free family fun day to celebrate Ipswich's LGBTQIA+ community.

​ Queerswich is your chance to celebrate Pride and raise queer visibility in the region. We invite members of the LGBTQIA+ community, their families and their friends, to enjoy a free family fun day out in our beautiful city, celebrating all people, inclusive of their sexual identity, gender, family dynamic and lived experience.

Join us at Queerswich and celebrate the LGBTIQ+ community! You’ll get to chat to event attendees about their mental health and wellbeing, share our services and resources and collect donations for our Support Service.

Volunteering is a great way to support Beyond Blue, connect with others and feel a sense of pride and purpose.

We are looking for 4 volunteers to join a Beyond Blue staff member at this event. Volunteers will be talking with attendees about their mental health and wellbeing, or those they may be concerned about, sharing our services and resources and collecting donations.

You’ll receive a full briefing before the event and on the day to ensure you feel prepared and confident to represent Beyond Blue. You’ll also be eligible for up to $30 in reimbursements to cover the costs for transport, parking, food and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the shift.
