Oz Comic Con is a series of events across the country that showcases the best of entertainment and pop culture. This includes exhibitors, studio activations, celebrity guests, comics, anime screenings, guest and community panels and gaming. Join us to chat about health and wellbeing and share Beyond Blue resources at Oz Comic Con Perth. Roles are very limited so register today!

Event details

Volunteering is a great way to support Beyond Blue, connect with others and feel a sense of pride and purpose.

We are looking for 8 volunteers per day to join a Beyond Blue staff member at this event. Volunteers will be talking with attendees about their mental health and wellbeing, or those they may be concerned about and sharing our services and resources.

You’ll receive a full briefing before the event and on the day to ensure you feel prepared and confident to represent Beyond Blue.

Once your shift is over, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the event. You will be eligible for up to $30 in reimbursements to cover the costs of transport, food & drinks.

To lock in your role you’ll need to:

  • Be a registered volunteer (Register here)
  • Provide a valid Working with Children Check. If you do not have a current clearance, you can apply for a volunteer check here
