Beyond Blue is excited to cheer on the Team Beyond Blue runners as one of 6 headline charity partners at the upcoming Sydney Marathon!
Event Details
We are looking for 65 volunteers to help run our Drinks Station along Anzac Parade.
Volunteers will be running a Drinks Station along Anzac Parade, keeping runners hydrated and providing words of encouragement as they make their way around the course.
By volunteering, you will also be raising funds for Beyond Blue, as a donation is made to Beyond Blue for each volunteer on course by the event organisers!

5:15am – 11:45am - Location
Kensington, Sydney, New South Wales (exact location to be provided in the event brief)
Volunteering great way to support Beyond Blue, connect with others and feel a sense of pride and purpose.
This is sure to be a fun event, and you’ll have a great time engaging with the crowd who are most appreciative for a drink and some encouragement as they make their way through the course.
You’ll receive a full briefing before the event and on the day (from the organisers, Pont 3) to ensure you feel prepared and confident to represent Beyond Blue. You will also be joined by a Beyond Blue staff member to support you in the lead up to and during your shift.
As part of your volunteer position you will receive the following:
• Official volunteer t-shirt
• ASCIS cap
• Lunch, snacks, water
• Certificate of appreciation
• Public transport included
To lock in your role you’ll need to:
- Be a registered volunteer (Register here)
- Provide a valid Working with Children Check. If you do not have a current Check, you can apply for a free volunteer check.
All registration forms must be submitted by Sunday 1 September.
