Ownership of the Beyond Now suicide prevention app was transferred to Lifeline Australia in March 2024. The ownership change is part of the partnership between Beyond Blue and Lifeline to make it easier for all people in Australia to access the support they need, when they need it.

The app remains the same and works the same. People who use it can continue to have access to their safety plan.

Lifeline Australia's focus is on suicide prevention and supporting people who need urgent or immediate support, while Beyond Blue works to improve mental health early intervention and support, to prevent people from experiencing a crisis.
