For over 40 years I have been managing my mental health conditions. In that time the sector has only informed me how to reduce my symptoms or seek help. What I need to know is how to maximise my mental health whilst I manage these conditions and so live a fuller life.

A guide to what works on mental wellbeing: An evidence review of interventions

Developed with the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), this evidence review spotlights more than 20 interventions that have an evidence-base for improving a person’s mental wellbeing. 

The guide has been designed for people seeking reliable information based on a high standard of evidence. This includes practitioners and researchers working in a variety of fields across health, mental health, community wellbeing and program design.

The Wellbeing Action Tool

The Wellbeing Action Tool can help someone map out what works for their own mental wellbeing - and why. It’s a plan-on-a-page for taking early action so anyone can be ready when things start to feel heavy.

Our mental wellbeing goes up and down as we adjust to changes and everyday challenges. Small, ordinary actions can make a big difference.
